Some 200 mt of humanitarian food supplies have been looted in Bambari and Bria. Light vehicles and trucks were moved before the attacks and are secured in Bangui. Security measures at the warehouse in Bangui have been reinforced.
Constrained humanitarian access due to insecurity continues to be a major challenge. The humanitarian country team is preparing for return of critical staff to Bangui this week.
Priority humanitarian activities include health services and multi-sectoral assessments which will be carried out within the framework of the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM).
Humanitarian partners are calling for respect for international humanitarian and human rights law, including immediate humanitarian access, protection of children against recruitment into armed groups and protection against sexual and gender based violence.
