UNICEF has released $4.3 million of its own emergency resources to support the emergency response in the Kivus.
UNICEF partner PAMI identified and documented 400 unaccompanied (ENA) and separated children (ES) between the 15 and 29 November in the IDP camps and sites in and around Goma.
On 29-30 November, Merlin RRMP provided services to 275 people via its mobile health clinic in 8e CEPAC (Lac Vert IDP site) serving an estimated 6,000 household catchment population. The mobile health clinic activity is ongoing.
Cholera is on the rise this week in IDP sites. 31 cholera cases reported by CTC (cholera treatment centers) of Buhimba, Kanyrucinya and Katsimbi out of 34 cases for Goma overall. The number of cases reported rose from 33 for week 46 to 53 for week 47.
DRC border with Rwanda is opening and functioning for transport of humanitarian cargo. Goma airport remains closed.
